Jon was always extreemely helpful especially when we were coming to London. Once we missed our train and had to get a later one arriving at midnight and he very kindly came to pick us up from the station. Again when we flew into London from Nepal he was there to be the 'taxi' - often at inconvenient times. We remember him enjoying playing with our toddlers, being interested in others lives, and being a kind and gentle person. We hope that the service is a real celebration of his life and are remembering all who knew and loved him.

So sad to hear of Jon's passing. He was such a thoughtful and caring person. He made a mean fry up on his narrow boat and got me very drunk before my wedding day. He always brings a smile to my face when I think of him. You will be sadly missed. X
